Today will be the negotiation test! I felt nervous and I am afraid that I am not able to go through this negotiation test.
When I reached the class, I saw everyone is talking to each other about the partners. My partner is Joleen and eventually I felt relieved because I know her character as we have know each other for quite sometimes.
My negotiation test starts at 11.15 and I can't afford to be late to prepare my negotiation test. I knew that if I am late, I am at disadvantage! Thus, I always tell myself to look at the time to prepare myself for the test.
It's 11.15am, Joleen and I went to another room to fill the Planning Worksheet while waiting for another group before us to finish their negotiation test with Linda. At first, both of us quite confused on how to negotiate for this theme. After sometimes we communicate with each other and we understood on what to do in the negotiation test.
I took the role of Jay which is the purchasing department, while Joleen took the role of Yau where is took the responsibilities to become one of the producing department employer. 20 minutes preparing time is up and we have to go for negotiation test. First of all, we greet each other by shaking each other's hand, and greet 'Good Afternoon'. maybe it gives Linda a good impression because we get to know each other before our negotiation starts. We began negotiating and Yau wanted Jay to have understanding that he needed the products delivered on time. On the other hand, Jay wish to obtain the goods on time even though the price is different and it is quite difficult to comprise the price.
Therefore, our conclusion is that we shall discussed it before our next purchase. On the other hand, we also try to maintain a good relationship with each other.
After our negotiation test, we are allowed to go home, however, I still need to wait for one of my friend to finish negotiate to go for lunch.
